How to get to the B&B

Santa Maria Novella Railway Station (Km 0,5)

Walking (10 minutes): go through Via Nazionale, and once in Piazza Indipendenza just turn right in Via XXVII Aprile : after few passes you reach the B&B at n° 11.

Bus: take one of the following lines: 1, 6,14, 17, 23 and stop in Via XXVII Aprile.

Amerigo Vespucci Airport Florence (Km 5). Quick shuttle “Vola in bus” to the Railway station Santa Maria Novella. Departure every 30 minutes from 6.00 am to 8.30 pm – Every hour from 8.30 pm to 23.30 pm – Ticket Euro 6,00 – Return ticket Euro 10,00.

A1 highway – Florence Sud way out (km 4): follow the indication for the centre. Going through ring road follow the indications to Piazza della Libertà. Keep on the right to Via Lorenzo Il Magnifico and go through to the first light. Turn left in Via POliziano then go straight over passing a light and a large road and go through Via S. Caterina D’Alessandria.

A1 highway – Florence Nord and Firenze Impruneta way out (km 5): follow indications to centre – Fortezza da Basso. When you reach Fortezza da Basso, go through Viale Lavagnini and turn right at the first light in Via S. Caterina d’Alessandria.

Most part of Florence old town centre is forbidden to the cars and you must take care not to pass through the access telematics passes. If you need a parking for your car, closed to the B&B there are a couple of security monitored parking place. Otherwise you can leave your car on the ring road between Fortezza da Basso and Viale Lavagnini.

How to move in town

The best way to visit Florence is walking through but there is another pleasant way to discover the beauty of the town: rent a bike and go through the streets in the centre or through the cyclinglanes on the boulevard and embakment along Arno. There are many shops renting city bikes in the neighborhood of San Lorenzo, closed to to the B&B.
